If we feel "full," then we've already eaten too much... I think it was already mentioned here that it takes about 15 to 20 minutes after we eat in order to feel full... that's the body's survival strategy to allow us to eat more than we need because early humans didn't eat as often... we would go for days at a time between meals, so over eating was a survival mechanism...

I try to simulate early human eating... although not exactly how they ate...

I have a good breakfast of eggs, melon, a banana, and some walnuts, also possibly some cheese... I feel well fed... for lunch I have some fruit, likely a nectarine and also maybe a plum if I'm still hungry... and for dinner I have melon...

I'm surprised that I'm not "starving" in the morning, but I still have another good breakfast and then the same routine for lunch and dinner... the weight is dropping off and I'm really not feeling hungry or deprived...
