I sold some AAPL.

About 1/3 of my holding, at about $186, last week. I'd held it for more than 7 years ... one could probably find the post on this site's AAPL board where I mentioned buying it. A pretty good gain, but not like the previous decade, which was outrageous. I still hold many of those older shares.

I also wrote calls on half of my remaining stake. Oct. $185s.

Mostly it was because the AAPL position in my Roth has grown to be nearly half my total position in my Roth. And I am not comfortable with the general economy. Short term probably OK, but ... "sell in May and go away" is the stereotypic advice, and this year I took it.

Good fortune to all.
