Robby Stephens: Strange time to pull-in est., Cube's in a quite period. The analyst couldn't have just called Hagedorn and said, "How much do you have?" RS is seeing something in the market place, or with customers. RS was one of the most bullish on cube's earnings.

One of the most bearish houses was Olde. They moved up their earnings forcast for Q4, on 12/15/97. Strange turn of events.

They are all looking at Southeast Asia, and Cube's exposure. Cube, being exposed mostly to China has little visability as far as how sales are being effected.

It all comes down to how consumers react to the Asian crisis, over the next 6-12 months. Video for the home is a planned and saved for purchase. Visa and Mastercard are just now being marketed. Consumers pay with cash there.

VCD is slower, but the analysts were too low on the estimates at the beginning of the Q, anyway.
