Here is their creative talking point for the rest of the week: Republican-run Senate committee says Russia tried to help Trump win Russia tried to help Donald Trump win the 2016 election — and Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his government to do so. *** If I recall correctly, there were 2 candidates, and one (Hillary) had a 93% lock on the presidency and Trump had zero paths to 270 electoral votes. Exactly who should the Russian try to help or hurt? DUH??? If Trump was ahead in all the polls for 6 months, I would predict that Putin and Russia would have helped Hillary defeat Trump.
