I also heard the institutional may still be buying. That is why I have not made a move yet. I came very close to purchasing Jan $40 or $35 puts this morning. After the additional drop today I wish I had taken a position in them. As you must know, Triquent was also down although ANAD hung in (its not overvalued - Many may dispute that!).
Is there any reason why you went with the short position and not the puts? It does seem more dangerous with the shorting if you are forced to buy back before you want to.
