Education is good but there are so many near worthless degrees that we engineers used to make fun of behind closed doors while in college back in the 1970s... that it seems even more appropriate now with all the "well educated barista's working at Starbucks." Subsidized education is great as long as it is for useful skills and not just yoga or art classes so your parents keep footing the bills...
