To All: There is a two page article(pgs.170-171) in the 2/98 issue of "Upside" magazine on the Networking sector in 1997 and 1998. It is written by Noel Lindsey, the networking analyst at DMG. He has a good track record. He basically says that 1997 was a bad year due to a convergence of a number of negative events that are unlikely to repeat in 1998. He is looking for a very strong year for the sector. He elaborates on all the major players in 1997. If you cannot get the hardcopy of the magazine, they are on the Web at: www.upside.com.
