- Criminal conspiracy with a hostile foreign power: there's no proof of this...only FBI spies trying to plant fake information and entrap the Trump campaign...to no avail
- Pay for play bribery: there's no proof of this either, although I would find this far more believable, given Trump's history. In fact, I'd bet most billionaires are guilty of trying to bribe public officials....we just don't have the means to catch and prosecute them.
- Wanton violation of the emoluments clause: no proof of this either, although the libs are trying their damnedest to find something
- Obstruction of justice: you can't obstruct something that was constituted illegally to begin with. Even so, Trump has steadfastly avoided firing Mueller and other than firing off a million tweets, which are not illegal, has done nothing to impede the investigation. So this is a non-starter.
If they want to go after Trump, they should have looked into his business dealings, prior to becoming President, and knocked him out of the running, but they never took him seriously enough. Now that he's President, he basically has immunity from all of that. Unlucky for the libs, President Trump has committed no prosecutable crime since becoming a candidate for President. It must be frustrating. you know the guy's not clean, but you can't get him on what he did, so the libs make up a bunch of stuff he didn't do and that doesn't stick either. Go figure. |
