SG, A few sketchy issues? Come on. A few sketchy issues don't take a stock from 54 to 24.
A P/E ratio of 61 after the stock is down more than 50%. An announcement that revenues from the major customer will be down. A corporate officer settles with the SEC to the tune of $2.9 million for violations. He misled shareholders and you want to believe this guy.
Again, why do you think shorts want 'things ripped apart'? What does being short a stock have to do with things being ripped apart. As I have repeatedly stated, I am little slow so I am missing the connection here. I thought the idea behind shorting a stock was that you thought the stock price was too high, so when the price comes down, you can make some money. I didn't know it had anything to do with ripping things apart.
Seriously, SG, I invest to see my money grow, it's human nature ya know. I don't care if that means going long, short, or letting my cash sit in money market. BTW, It so happens that the majority of my invests are long not short.

BTW, When I go short by borrowing your shares and selling them, I get to earn interest on your money too. |
