Uriel,

I saw the CNBC interview, and the question was if new talent was discouraged from joining Oracle because the stock at 19 was half its 52 wk high (because they are paid with stock options). The VP responded to the effect that on the contrary, they see great potential to get back to the forties (and higher). He said it with a *very* big grin. I suspect that if their is any substantial shorting of the stock presently, we may see some good upside from here. The Intel news should ignite the tech's tomorrow. The tech's closed higher in Asia based on Intel's earnings and conference call. Abbey Cohen (spelling?) said on Friday's Wall Street Week in Review that she and her firm (Goldman Sachs?) recommended stocks beaten down due to Asia speculation. This sure is a candidate for that. The only thing that makes me cautious is there is a seller (?mutual fund) who has been selling 100k lots, regularly. If they stop this, seeing a bottom, then the skies the limit, because it appears to me that they have been holding the stock back more than anything. I bought in big on Friday since the short and long term for the stock valuation look good to me.

Been wrong before,

Regards,

Richard
