I also like that phrase, it also reminds me of how the early pioneers travelled west by wagon and endured incredible hardships and did everything they had to do by themselves without relying on societal conveniences... it's an attitude I've always admired and with which I've always identified... we rely so much these days on conveniences, but so many of those conveniences are simply not good for us...
