"The Media's Defense Of Obama Admin Spying Defies Logic
David Harsanyi

THE FEDERALIST

It doesn’t matter what you think about Donald Trump — revelations that a major party’s administration was spying on another one deserve a seriousness that’s lacking in major media coverage."

I realize that headlines are often not written by the author of the article, but the headline makes a charge regarding logic, then starts the first paragraph with a classic begging-the-question fallacy. And the logic deteriorates from there. Lots of articles are just a collection of miscellaneous points in a given subject area, not a premise and arguments leading to a conclusion, which is fine until the piece has the audacity to make a call to logic. Which is guaranteed to get my attention.
