What you're missing is that these interfaces were manufactured in the first place. And then once the interface occurred, the interface became either part of the dossier or part of the FISA warrant or both.

For example, we're now learning from GP's own testimony that three people were encouraging him to try to set up meetings between Trump and a Russian. The idea of a meeting wasn't something GP came up with on his own.

Likewise with Carter Page. I think it was the very same week after joining the Trump campaign, that Halper, acc. to Page, called to introduce himself. Out of the blue.
