I recall when Netflix first came to Canada we had many US tv shows from the 60's+ but they are no longer available. To me it just feels like we are getting a much poorer selection of content versus the US.

It will always be that way Canada is always the last to get content. The movie Ronin was pulled from Netflix Canada I called and asked why they said the license expired. But you can request content on Netflix and if they get enough of a certain title they will add that program.
