I have been meaning to write to let you know how our house building went but absolutely nothing funny happened. The builder came monthly with a bill that was always much greater that I expected. He came last month with the last bill which was much bigger than expected and gave us a calender. Somehow this all seemed so anticlimactic, no official handing over of the keys, just the calender and the bill ...then he walked away. I now have my husband to continue on with the building, somehow that is much better. He never sends me any bills and he always gives me the impression that I am getting my own way . Has anyone on the thread ever laid terra cotta tiles and is willing to admit it? If so I would love to know what you used as a finish thanks janet
