Phoenix BIOS System Software Selected by IBM for PC Products
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 1998--Phoenix Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:PTEC - news) -- the leading supplier of standards-based compatibility software for the PC industry, announced today that it has entered into a technology licensing agreement with IBM.
Under the terms of the agreement, IBM will use Phoenix BIOS 4.0 core technology in the development of IBM BIOS and firmware for a range of its PC computer systems.
