<< Sixty-three percent of U.S. chief financial officers expect the recent turmoil in Asian markets to have no effect on their firms' profits over the next four quarters, >>

The most worthless survey I have ever seen. I suppose 63% of CFO's surveyed believed 12 months ago that Asia wasn't going to contribute to profits to begin with?

What a joke. All these companies and the pundits were saying how Asia was the next great growth opportunity. Now that Asia is in the tank they all say we don't need Asia. You can't have it both ways!

COMS recent Asian sales were growing at 50%. U.S. sales were growing at around only 15%. I haven't read the 10Q yet but the TSC article said that last quarter Asian sales FELL 5% year over year. The Asian crisis has only begun! The full effects won't be felt for a few more quarters. Can we assume that in a few quarters COMS will have declines of 10%-15% in Asia? Looks to me like it's not zero growth from Asia, it's declines from Asia.

Like I said a ridiculous survey...
