Jim, about Compaq's MediaGX notebook I re-checked their press release and they said it would be 1999 (32MB/2GB/CD-ROM). The latest Dell price is 2599 for a 200 MMX + 12" SVGA TFT. Want to bet if Compaq's offer would include a TFT ? So who is going to buy this 1999 product ? Gary
