Qualcomm's 5G Snapdragon X24 chip is pretty amazing executing 5G speeds using 4G LTE. Their 5G chips will leapfrog that.

Huawei hopes to one day shrink the size of their giant and hot-running Balong 5G01 chip (a 5G chip with speeds comparable to Qualcomm's 4G Snapdragon-X24) small enough to fit inside phones.

So far Huawei's hot-running Balong 5G01 chip is just for big clunky hotpots with a heavy power supply.
