Thiess, I don't WANT Zen to fail.
There are a lot of good people (and some who I know and like) who have money in this project. I wish them well and it would be ridiculous to actually wish carnage upon their portfolio.
That's different. I'm not that person who would - for whatever reason.
I only wish people would learn what they can. I have the belief that if one person can learn something, then any other normal person can also. Especially with stocks like these, where money changes everything. Everything.
And companies can't officially lie any more, (Post Bre-X) but they can carefully state things that obfuscate thru misdirection or whatever.
Here is an example: Ballard stated Albany graphite has excellent thermal stability, far more than what they need for Fuel Cell membranes and stuff. It's the truth! It does. So where's the catch?
Well, go to Google and see what carbon's characteristics are. ALL GRAPHITE is thermally stable to over 3,000 degrees C, at which point it sublimes into gas. It doesn't even melt. They are just describing the characteristics of all graphite. All great stuff. Ballard was 100% correct, but it is irrelevant to Zen graphite being unique in that regard because they are describing the common characteristic of all graphite.
So Zen graphite is wonderful there, but Ballard also has huge rolls of membrane in stock from China - their partner is all this and is eventually where Ballard will be - more than it is now.
It's a nasty business, and I honestly think Zen has significant problems in front of them. Look at the Capex in the PEA Tech, 400 million in 2015 US dollars. That's US Dollars! So do some math there please.
If AE thought the project could progress he would have started the 2 year enviros (even part of them, the cheap stuff) right away. Map out the game trails, look at the birds and the fish, categorize the plants. Get licenced people to get a start. Do the drilling later. He didn't.
Be well and good luck. |
