re <<Qualcomm ... ZTE>>

your president the trump is making a very astute deal

there should be other deals in the pipe

trading is wonderful, and leads to more trade

transparency of rules help, and everything on the table makes possible for solutions

as matters turn out, we of course should have realised earlier on that real estate is closely related to geopolitics, and trading in both arena follow some similar rules

just fantastic

China to Clear Qualcomm-NXP Once Confident of ZTE Deal
May 28, 2018, 5:51 PM GMT+8
China is ready to approve Qualcomm Inc.’s $43 billion takeover of NXP Semiconductors NV if it gets assurances that the U.S. will lift a seven-year ban on homegrown telecoms giant ZTE Corp., people familiar with the matter said.

The antitrust regulator has cleared all factual investigations, is satisfied with the remedies Qualcomm’s offering and only procedural issues remain, said the people, who asked not to be identified discussing internal matters. Senior officials have given a green-light for approval of a deal that’s been pending for 18 months, with an announcement possible any time, they said.
