SteveG,

I disagree on some of your points, but most have nothing to do with WSTL. Many in your last message were mostly brought up by me, so i apologize for not wanting to talk about some things any more.

<< For one, since AFAIK, WSTL doesn't have any shipping DMT yet, WSTL's is
CAP, while AWRE's is DMT. >>

WSTL's G.Lite is CAP only? So, it exists, but it is only CAP?
I assume that TI DSP's which will be software upgradeable and will be using the G.Lite standards that bill uraled (thanks), will make DMT G.Lite a matter of an upload?

An example I am curious about-- I am wondering that IF some large RBOC were to throw in a large amount of WSTL DSLAMS in the Summer that depend on the TI DMT chipset WITHOUT G.Lite, well, will it be possible to keep that in place AND use any standard G.Lite modem in the near-by home with no problem? Does the DSLAM have to be upgraded? Will TI be able to upgrade the DSLAM to G.Lite with simple software uploads to possible older TI DMT chipsets? Will an ADI G.Lite modem in my home work with a TI DMT DSLAM well? Am I insane...I know what I am trying to ask, but I don't think I am being too clear...

help?,
