You are missing the point. MSFT has an audience of 65 million. Have you forgotten about the Windows desktop real estate. This is some of the most valuable marketing property in the world. Apply the traditional 1.5% return of bulk mail to 65 million desktops, add in thr growing 10 million or so from MSN and online properties, and then add in the positive cash flow to electronics vendors as compared to what Malone will offer them (a charge for access to cable). It sums up to be an attractive deal.
