My mother has developed insomnia. She can go to sleep, but if something wakes her up, she can't get back to sleep.

One thing about my blood pressure medicine is it has a diuretic and will usually wake up at night, but can go back to sleep. Schedule permitting, I also have no trouble taking a nap during the day.

I can solve problems better though after sleeping on them.
