Yes,

I heard it cuts there slimy underbelly as they crawl over it.

I have interlocking pavers that retain white gravel then 24 inch high raised garden beds.

Hundreds of little slimy trails going across the pavers (they shine during the day) no slug problems in my garden patch.

You can buy them in a pellet form and shake them on a perimeter - they keeps the slugs out.

Work great.
