By way over -- you mean $ 10,000 over; as a contribution in your wife's name is perfectly legal. Typically these things are resolved by returning the money and possibly issuing a fine. it is unprecedented to sentence some one to jail time for an 10,000 over contribution. He was considered a poltical enemy of Obama's and this was retribution pure and simple. Be careful how you all on the left react to every single thing. It is like crying Wolf everytime you see a Puppy. Pretty soon normal people just tune you out. And Republican partisans also might start returning the favor to people like Rosie, since it is all hardball politics with your team anyway. Might as well start claiming some scalps.
