"Trump/Nixon et.al. could only be charged with obstruction justice if there is a different action, a criminal one, that they are aware of. And one that they are trying to prevent from being investigated/prosecuted"

If Trump isn't aware of Russia by now, he's in denial.

" He can't obstruct justice when it comes to the hiring and firing cabinet and DoJ officials "
Nixon thought that when he committed the Sat. Night Massacre. How did that work out?
Two words: CORRUPT INTENT

"since 'collusion' isn't illegal"
The legal term is "conspiracy". It's a crime.
18 U.S.C. § 371 - U.S. Code Title 18. Crimes and Criminal Procedure ..
Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States .

"even if what you lefties delusionally believe were to be true (that Trump colluded with Putin),"
The best outcome is that nobody conspired with anybody. That leaves us with the hack and with the Facebook thing, both of which are illegal. 13 Russians and 3 companies have been indicted for the latter. That's bad enuf.

"their needed to be a real crime to even appoint a Special Prosecutor"
You can read all about it here:
Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections

"The Korean War is ending"
That would be good. I think I can sorta remember it beginning.
