Packfan, I didn't say "temperature tolerance". I quoted Zen and Ballard exactly, so your wordplay is just that.

Packfan, I'm sure the Albany graphite is fine for what Ballard would need it for, were it not for the Chinese PARTNER supplying the rolls of membranes...and the Chinese abhor using someone else's stuff when they make the same.

But really, it seems the world is tired of hearing about this graphite being unique when end users keep using adjectives like Ballard's "baseline" and "equivalent" descriptions. Yes. they compared in some cases to the Chinese synthetic, but that's where the ice gets thin and scary.

1: Zen was producing petri dish samples, and everyone in the industry except for Zenners knows scaling up isn't linear.

2: Comparing with synthetic is meaningless because synthetic is produced uniquely and specifically for each application. It isn't just "a type" of graphite...It's many exacting and precise, or even rough types....so any comparison is easy and loose.

3: If JJ could have scaled up the graphite successfully, do you think the results would have been hidden for even an instant?

So from 2015 to 2018 there has been nada...for a reason.

And, having said that, I would be very pleased for the Zen investors if they were to figure a way out of this conundrum:

4: 41% caustic and acid by weight of concentrate and almost a full Billion is Canadian dollars CAPEX. They have to figure a way past that.
