China is taking the lead from the U.S. in science. With US government attitudes turning against immigrants, more young scientists around the world are heading to China where funding is better. The Chinese are actively recruiting scientists with signing bonuses and other benefits as well. 'China is the best place in the world to start your own lab,' said one researcher who left Yale for Bejing. washingtonpost.com Considering this is the most anti-science administration in a long time.. no surprise, really.
