Well, well. It sounds like Panda has been given a stay of execution until February 28th 1998. The loan is to "sustain operations". Sounds like the dire predictions on this thread are coming true. As Crane puts it, the loan is to act as "a short term financing solution to give investors time to understand the advances Panda has made and the business opportunities available to the Company." Doesn't this mean - to sucker more investors to drive up the price? From the sounds of it this little short short term loan is supposed to just hold out until a big financing package comes through. Presumably when it doesn't then Helix will nab the "intellectual property" as collateral and Panda will be left with what? When this $2 million dries up, what will be the moeny source for operations? Sounds like we are seeing, possibly, the beginning of the end for PNDA. The market is acting mildly favorably this morning, but not as much as one might expect - which is good news for the shorts!

Thoughts, anyone?
Jim
