Brian, I'm still long options right now, so if you want to sell any (cheap) let me know. :-)

I'm still looking for my short term target of 35, just not sure now what will get us there. My thoughts were for the company to prerelease numbers for the Q and year this week and that would give us a good boost. That's still possible and one reason I don't think I'd write calls now. And of course I remember seeing that the year end report was going to be out in two weeks. That would be another reason I'd hate to be short calls just in case they come out with a dynamite report. The day after the conference call would probably be the day I'd think of writing calls.

My other thought is that the powers to be will force us to close below 30 this week so all their Jan 30 options expire worthless. Still not sure if this happens, but it seems like the numbers of times is does would be a heck of a coincidence.

My strategies; I always buy calls at least 3 months out. A little safer and almost guarantees a short term spurt somewhere in there that will let you make good money. And I always write the nearest term option.

Right now every option is selling below the Black-Schoales value. I hate selling for less than the BS value, but sometimes you don't get a choice. Actually, those low prices are probably trying to tell us something.

Just some thoughts. (Although I'm worse than a female and change my mind almost daily regarding the stock market.)
