I agree and ordered a new Asus MB from Newegg yesterday.I think the static shocks I was experiencing the last few days probably contributed to the failure. When I sat down and touched the mouse the Zap was quite loud and I did this several times. However, there was no static discharge at time of failure. I had been working on computer for some time and suddenly it failed????
Anyway the new MB is on the way.
