This is how Obamacare dies. Once that happens, a new, competently drafted law will provide guaranteed issue and other provisions that were the good parts of Obamacare.

The country is essentially in agreement that Guaranteed Issue should be available, although it may be somewhat more expensive than plans for those w/o preexisting conditions. OTOH, overall costs will be lower.

The critical difference is it won't be drafted by Rahm's brother and that bogus health care economist.

If you follow the health care trades, I think you'll find there is a lot more awareness amongst provider groups about what needs to be done to provide affordable care for everyone who needs it. I think they were caught offguard when the Dems pulled people off the street to ask them how to do it back in '09-10.
