You and I both know that single payer is problematic. I do not know what will be proposed but Democrats have made clear that they will not support a less government centric program. So, whatever replaces it will depend on the power Trump has at the time of final collapse.

This is what he said he would do. He couldn’t get Dems to act, so he’ll wait on it to die then he will have the power to build a real system.

I would expect less government if he has the political power, no mandate, but guaranteed issue with wider cost variability and some subsidy. The Medicaid expansion is a disaster and needs to go. I don’t know what will replace it.
