Hi Josh - What you said is very true. My youngest son spent six years in the Navy and was stationed on the George H W Bush aircraft carrier. His job was ABH which is an aircraft handler. He moved F-18 jets from the hanger bay to the flight deck and back again.

One thing that he was trained in was being a fire fighter. He would run into the flames of a burning aircraft and extract the pilot. He was deployed twice near Iraq and Afghanistan.

The carrier has a huge workout room which he used a lot. When he returned from his first deployment he was built like an Olympic weight lifter.
