NZ is less gone than England where the politicians and police allow knifing, murder and mayhem

There is no useful equivalence between knifing in the UK and leaking classified information to adversaries. Some people call this "whataboutism," but I call it puerile reasoning. If you want a better comparison, you could say "Trump gives classified information to Russians in the White House, so why can't Kiwis give similar information to the Chinese?"

those few quiet protestors are allowed, like a fig leaf to cover what's really going on ... see we allow protest.

It's logically possible that NZ are far gone enough to allow the CCP to track the friends and families of the protestors out front of the embassy. The CPP may use NZ governmental information to help identify and track those individuals. Maybe you could inform on the protesters, so even if you don't know their names, you could tell embassy officials where they live and where they meet with friends.

They hold signs objecting to live organ harvesting which is now banned anyway.

The CCP make a statement and you gobble it down, hook, line and sinker. You really are a Trump/Xi/al-Assad supporter.
