I do some trading, some long term investing. TSI would probably be good for both. If you want to talk to someone using their systems, well, unless you already know someone personally, you probably need to set up an account with one of their clients -- almost all of the major firms are now or are about to be clients.

Look through their press releases and you'll see the explanation for the lack of growth in '97. Basically it's because they changed their mode of doing business from selling the equipment to leasing/subscriptions. This is MUCH better, long term.
