In the 1960's to 1970's, inflation's rise was strongly correlated with the unionization of a much larger percentage of the workforce.

I always thought that globalization of the world had a dirty little untold story was the decimation of US union strength ( a strength that had gone too far in power ( i.e. NICPAC and Delta airlines strikes).

Now day's the biggest unions are government based - and we have not taken the bankruptcy approach to reign them in.

Sadly over taxation has resulted mostly from weak politicians IMO.

I hesitate to say it, but this time it is different.
