Talk about clueless. NK has existed for more than a few years. They have a consistent pattern of behavior. Not the least of which is the leadership just doesn't care about things like sanctions. At most, they are an inconvenience. The full brunt of the sanction fall on the people. And they don't count. They have had a famine and food shortages for decades. Nothing is done. Their fertilizer plant broke down decades ago. So they have resorted to raw sewage as fertilizer. As a result, parasitic infections are rampart.

Starvation has driven the NK people to take extreme risks to get food. Many die as a result. They regularly wash up in Japan and islands off the Korean coast.

Again, North Korea has had an open invitation to one on one talks with the US for decades. Trump is just the first president in that time to be dumb enough to accept.

I am willing to bet you know very little of the little that is known about North Korea.
