No, I think it's more that he knows he's got a desperate Dotard. Trump's had 2 'summits' with Xi, got nada. This last G7 'summit' was just an embarrassment for the US. Trump has ZERO 'deals' as president. Just Trump meeting with him, a guy running a Birmingham, Alabama size economy, is a MAJOR win for Kim.
