I looked at the DWM explanations and the "large" pictures -- it was kind of hard to figure out what the company is trying to show since the GIF pictures are blurry scans. The sinusoidal waveforms look a little too clean (smooth), not like what you'd get from a real telephone line, but either from 2 boxes wired back to back, or created by putting a mathematical function into a program such as Mathcad or a spreadsheet. Again, this may be a theoretical result, like the company said in their SEC filing, when they admitted that 300-600 Kbps over an unmodified phone line was a "theoretical" value. I still stand by my statement that no one can get more than 64 Kbps on an unmodified POTS line, with incompressible data, because of the 64 Kbps analog-to-digital conversion by the telco line cards.

I've heard that Neldon is preparing to sue me and other people over what we've said online, so I might as well reveal something. He's going to look awfully silly in court when the judge finds out that I filed complaints on the company with the SEC, the Utah Dept. of Commerce, and the postal inspectors on June 29, 1996, and have subsequently provided information to the SEC to aid their investigation. Harassing someone who has cooperated with the government with a lawsuit is not recommended. And, by the way Neldon, if you're reading this, my mailing address is no longer the one for the 1 share of IAUS I bought, in Huntington Beach, CA (I have a new apartment in Tustin, CA), so use the P.O. Box in Santa Ana that is on my complaint to the SEC. (They will eventually provide you with my complaint and other materials.)
