I took these instructions from a post by a good friend of mine, Paul Zimmerman who stays on #Zstockchat and have edited it some to see if it will be of assistance to anyone who wishes to try mIRC.

1. Download mIRC Version 5.02 software from mirc.co.uk (load time approx. 7 min. at 28,800)
2. In Win 95 click on "Start" button, then click on "Find" button, then click on "Files or Folders". Now type in "MIRC502s". When it locates the program double click on it to install.

ACCESSING

1. Double click on "mIRC" icon.
2. Close "About mIRC" window.
3. At "mIRC" window, click on "IRC Servers" tab, then click on drop down menu and select the Undernet server which is closest to your location, fill in other blanks. Any "Undernet server" will do when one is busy.
4. Click on "Connect to IRC Server!" button
5. You should now be connecting to an Undernet server.
6. "mIRC Channels Folder" should now pop up. Where it says "Enter Name of Channel To Join" type in "#daytraders", then click the "Join" button.
7. YOU'RE THERE.

If the name of the channel you're seeking is not in the printed list, all you have to do is type in the one for which you're seeking into the box for Name of Channel To Join.

I gather that you've already done most of the above and don't need this post, but others might need the full list.
