It is hard for me to believe you even posted that. How would my life be different if China controlled the Korean peninsula ? I don't think of it in terms of my life, I think of it in terms of their lives.

I don't only think of my life, in fact I seldom think of my life. I am fine and always have been. I am thinking of other peoples lives who are too often miserable because of cruel dictators and our Republicans.

When I see a wonderful country like South Korea saved from dictatorial oppression, and flourishing in a vibrant democracy, it makes me happy and when I see people freed from overt racism, it makes me happy.

And when I see us wage an unjust war in Viet Nam, I fight against it. Just like I have always done fighting against the evil Republicans.

And our allies in the south seas are being attacked (intimidated) by both China and Russia. And they greatly depend on our military presence.

Gheeesh!! Good lord Wharf!

<,

How would your life be different if the entire Korean Peninsula was owned by China? Why were we even in Korea? We had no strategic interest there. We just wanted to stop the spread of international communism. That's been done. As for Japan,

"We must push back on China and Russia and support our allies"

Our allies aren't under attack, except in cyber-info wars.

"You ask how the Korean Peninsula would be different if it was owned by China. Really?"
Not really; I asked how your life would be different; "How would your life be different if the entire Korean Peninsula was owned by China? ". Mine wouldn't change.

"South Korea is one of the leading democracies in the world and we must protect them and Japan and Australia."

As long as they are within reach of our ICBMs, they are protected from an invasion.
