Question is, what's the threshold for the Chinese gov't to issue formal approval? Resolution on one major tariff issue, or a broad cessation of tariff hostilities? The former could happen next week; the latter could take months.

I got lucky yesterday that I was on line after hours. When NXPI spiked I sold out. Remember "pigs get slaughtered". Bought back today at ~114 because the Chinese will lose any authority they might possess
if they throw a monkey wrench into the deal.

IMHO there is a 90+% chance of approval by 7/25. NXPI goes to close to deal price.

If there is no approval it is still a win if you own Q. NXPI will drop a few points.
