Brad, thanks for your responses to my questions regarding Myriad's profitibility and IT status in NY.

I have a follow up to your comment though .. so maybe you have talked to Ira about this as well . You stated "Ira indicated that Myriad is supposed to be highly profitable, BUT he stressed that he must CONFIRM that through their audit before he can say it for sure. He is not
inclined to acquire a losing operation. "

So from the way I read that Ira is telling you he WILL NOT aquire a company that is not profitable but until audidited numbers come out for Myriad he cant CONFIRM they are profitable. So if somehow they are not profitable it seems he wouldnt merge with them. Yet, in previous posts here it has been assumed that the merger is already going through and all they have to do is figure out the pricing and all the details. So perhaps Im missing something here. Ira tells you he wont aquire the company unless its profitable and has audited #s to prove it from Myriad, yet we already have a press release dated 1/7 announcing an aquisition. Hmmm.. so if my some fluke they find Myriad was hiding something and is in fact unprofitable they will have to re-issue a new press release saying screw the aquisition after all??

Just wondering.. perhaps you have spoke with Ira about this.

Thanks,
Mark

P.S. The recent press release (1/7/98)says 1997 sales of $8 Mil, NOT $10 Mil.
