If the objective of the family-splitting is a deterrent, one wonders what the administration has done to advertise it to potential migrants. I have not seen any mention of press releases tweeting or any other means of communication to give them a heads-up. Has anyone? Has Sessions's announcement appeared on any Central American TV or are they waiting for the word of current practices to filter down through the grapevine? A broader warning might mitigate the cruelty to the first affected. Might.
