Trump rally eye witness report

So we get to Duluth about 1 Pm. Have a nice lunch at Sammy’s, our favorite pizza joint. Then we start moseying over to the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center – the DECC.

From downtown there is about a 4 block enclosed walk way across the freeway to the DECC. About 15 feet wide, 15 feet high. People are lined up. Is this the end of the line we ask hopefully? They laugh. You’ve got to go way down there.

There is a line of people heading down to the DECC and another line coming back. The line starts somewhere in the DECC, heads all the way back to downtown, loops back and heads back down to the DECC. So we march off down to find the end of the line. It gets hotter and hotter. No air, thousands of bodies, and the sun beating down on the walk way. Get to the DECC and it’s about 100 degrees (no exaggeration). No end of the line either. People are passing out. The line snakes as far as the eye can see. Latter we hear it went another two blocks. Sweat is pouring off us. We bail out down the stairs outside.

We find out the power is off in the whole complex. Coincidence? We start walking back downtown. Hordes of people walking towards the DECC. These people LOVE Trump. Somehow they kept the protestors a few miles away. Traffic is backed up for miles because none of the stop lights are working. We find a nice little bar downtown. Power's on there.

This ends our Trump rally adventure.
