Dependency and Socialism go hand in hand and the libtards disguise their desire for total control with the farce of their outward bleeding heart. Ultimately, their handouts breed dependency and then despondency as people being to realize they have been enslaved and then it's too late, because there is no way out. Russians, Cubans, and Venezuelans learned this first hand...the Chinese understand this all too well. Here in the US, we used to be the last bastion and the land of the truly free. The libtards have a radical agenda and they are VERY successfully transforming this country first into Europe, which is already enslaved, and soon after it will make the final transformation into what is Russia or Venezuela. Unfortunately, this is the overwhelming pattern of history.

Over the decades, I've been an avid student of the history of nations and their economic and governmental models. From my readings, I've realized one major truth and that is, Freedom, Capitalism, and Democracy are precious but fleeting things. They are like a firefly than shines so bright, and then ever so briefly, they wink out and are gone. Far more common, pernicious, and persistent are the other forms of government in history: Kingdoms, Dictatorships, Oligarchies, Theocracies, and all manner of ways that amount to one simple thing, which is the enslavement of the people and the crushing of Freedom in favor of the concentration of power and wealth at the very top.

Here in the US, we are almost there. Our brief flirtation with Freedom, Capitalism, and Democracy was ever only a very nice and comforting dream. But the natural tendency of all humans to devolve into our baser selves is now overwhelming the striving spark we have within us that sometimes flares forward to shine so brightly for that one magnificent moment. Our moment is almost gone and the catalyst for the new but familiar monster we will become are the liberals. And as always, they don't realize that what they have planted is nothing more than the seed of our own destruction.

I'm just glad that I lived to see how great this country was and could be. I also grieve for my kids and future grandkids, that they will never know the country I grew up in and how fantastic it felt to be part of the highest peaks that humanity has ever known in a country where we were Free, self-reliant, and more often than not, elected the best among us to be our leaders.
