This from today (Jan 14.). I like the fact that the company is making regular press releases. Too bad they are having no effect on the stock though.

ALPNET and Accent Sign Joint Marketing and Licensing Agreement

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- ALPNET, Inc. (Nasdaq: AILP - news), the international translation and
localization services company and Accent Software International Ltd., (Nasdaq: ACNTF - news), an international language
information technology company, today announced the signing of a joint marketing and licensing agreement which will allow
both companies to provide total language solutions to international software companies.

ALPNET has licensed its leading translation technology for printed and online documentation to Accent, and Accent has
licensed its globalization and localization tools for software products to ALPNET. Accent will integrate the tools and offer
them as one product to the market utilizing ALPNET's and Accent's sales channels. ALPNET will provide training and support
to users of the technology through its worldwide network.

''Since the demand for efficient translation technology has been rapidly increasing, we have been searching for a suitable
software marketing partner,'' commented Jaap van der Meer, President of ALPNET. ''ALPNET began as a software
company but decided to focus its business on the growing market of translation and localization services ten years ago. Accent
has an excellent product for software globalization and localization which strategically fits with our documentation translation
tools and we are excited to re-enter the market of translation software tools with such a dynamic partner.''

''Many software companies are unsatisfied with the performance of the limited tools available on the market. They are
searching for a complete software solution which is supported globally. Through our cooperation with Accent, we fill this
demand by offering a state of the art 'Technology Solution' to businesses worldwide. The agreement is non-exclusive.''

Todd Oseth, President of Accent, stated, ''By combining our tools with ALPNET services, we create a prominent force for
the global localization market of both products and documents. Both companies increase their sales channels and revenue
potential through this agreement.''

Accent and ALPNET are complementary in their business orientation. Accent will provide the software products and
ALPNET will supply the services. Development professionals from both organizations will work closely together to build
products for new markets.

The market for translation and localization software tools is growing fast. OVUM expects this market to amount to
approximately $1.5 billion in the year 2000. There are only a few suppliers of translation memory and machine translation
tools.

Accent Software International Ltd., is a provider of software language solutions for the language information technology
market. Accent products support over 30 languages and enable other software products to support global language issues. In
addition, internet automation products are offered through its subsidiary, AgentSoft Ltd. Products and services are provided
through direct, OEM and retail channels in most regions of the world. Accent Software was founded in 1988. AgentSoft was
established in 1996.

ALPNET is the largest publicly-owned dedicated supplier of worldwide translation and product localization services, with
more than 450 employees working in 14 countries throughout Europe, North America and Asia. ALPNET supplies its clients
