Dr. Anil Diwan is as committed as ever to finding a new CEO.
What makes you think this? (Are you saying he was never all that interested in finding a new CEO?) If not, what do you think his timeframe is for bringing in a new CEO?

I rather suspect Diwan is not willing to change his ways or give up his control of NNVC just to bring on another partner with the skill set necessary to make this company a success for the shareholders. (I hope I'm wrong.)

I sort of suspect a lot of very qualified candidates for the CEO position would pass on the opportunity:
  1. not wanting to be under the thumb of Diwan with regard to how to run this company,
  2. not wanting to tie their careers and reputations up with this company's historical lack of commercial success that may continue into the future without the right changes
  3. and not wanting to be associated with this company's atrocious treatment of shareholders with its one-sided licensing deal
It's a shame because Diwan could likely become a billionaire if he were just willing to give up management control and bring in the talent necessary to run this properly.

So here we sit as NNVC shareholders with a licensing deal so bad that a lot of potential sources of working capital wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole. Plan B, that of Diwan taking back all of NNVC's licensing rights, is certainly on the table as a possible outcome in the next few years.
